grassroots basketball at its finest!
From Friday, June 16th to Sunday, June 18th, the nation's top AAU basketball teams will once again be at Portland's Grant High School for the adidas Rose City Showcase. Now in its fourth year, the Showcase will feature a number of the top prep players in the country, all battling it out for the aRCS title. Nationally ranked teams such as DC Assault (DC), D-One Greyhounds (OH.), Southern Cal Allstars (CA),T Mac Allstars (TX.) and Atlanta Celtics (GA.) will all be in town for the event, and the Northwest will be well represented with the Friends of Hoop (WA), Seattle Rotary Select (WA.) and Oakland Shakur Village (CA.) programs all in the field.
This years event will be one of the most anticipated grassroots basketball events of the year as (11) of the top (25) players in the 2007 class will be in Portland for the festivities.

All Super 17s feature games will be played at Grant High School, located at 2245 NE 36th Avenue in Portland. 2006 aRCS (16U- 9U) divisional tournaments will be held at Grant, Benson and Franklin high schools, (8am- 8pm) Saturday and Sunday.
A FULL DETAILED game schedule of the 16U - 9U brackets will be posted no later than Friday, June 9th, 2006. Proceeds for this years event will benefit Grant High School and Inner City Players Athletics.
